Looking to save paper and reduce clutter? Duplex printing (also known as 2-sided printing) is one of the easiest ways to cut costs and stay organized. Here’s how to set it up on your Sharp copier.
Method 1: Directly from the Copier (Copying)
If you’re making copies directly from the copier:
-
Place your document on the glass or in the document feeder.
-
Tap the Copy icon from the home screen.
-
Select the Duplex option.
-
Choose your layout:
-
1-Sided → 2-Sided (for single-sided originals)
-
2-Sided → 2-Sided (for double-sided originals)
-
-
Press Start to begin copying.
Method 2: Duplex Printing from a Computer
When printing from your computer:
-
Open the file and click Print.
-
Select your Sharp printer.
-
Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
-
Find the 2-Sided Printing or Duplex option.
-
Choose either:
-
Long Edge (standard book-style flip)
-
Short Edge (flip from the top, like a notepad)
-
-
Click OK, then Print.
