How to Check Your Sharp Copier’s IP Address

Need to connect your Sharp copier to a computer, set up scanning, or access the web interface? You’ll need its IP address first. Here’s a quick and easy guide to find it right from the touchscreen.

Step 1: Press the Settings Icon

  • Tap the gear icon (⚙️) located in the upper-right corner of the home screen.

  • If you’re on a different screen, press the Home button first.

Step 2: Go to Status Tab

  • Select the Status tab from the menu (usually the first tab on the left).

  • Then tap on Network Status.

Step 3: View IP Address

  • You’ll now see the IPv4 address listed on the screen (e.g., 192.168.x.x).

  • This is the number you’ll use when setting up scan-to-folder, print drivers, or accessing the web interface.

Why You Might Need the IP Address

  • Installing the correct print drivers

  • Setting up scan-to-email or scan-to-folder

  • Logging into the copier’s admin panel remotely

  • Troubleshooting connection issues

Helpful Tip

Your copier’s IP might change if it’s not set as static. If you’re having issues reconnecting, ask your IT or technician to assign a static IP to your copier.
