If your Sharp copier isn’t printing or seems stuck, the issue might be in the print queue on your computer. Print jobs can get stuck for various reasons—like an offline printer, network hiccups, or driver issues. Here’s how to check and clear queue quickly.
Step-by-Step: How to View and Clear the Print Queue
For Windows Users:
-
Click the Start Menu and search for “Printers & Scanners.”
-
Choose your Sharp copier from the list of printers.
-
Click “Open print queue.”
-
A new window will open showing all current and pending jobs.
-
To remove a job, right-click on it and select “Cancel.”
-
If nothing is moving, click “Printer” at the top and select “Cancel All Documents.”
If prompted for administrator access, click Yes or enter your credentials.
For Mac Users:
-
Click the Apple Menu > System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
-
Select your Sharp copier.
-
Click “Open Print Queue.”
-
You’ll see the list of print jobs. Highlight any stuck jobs and click the X next to them to cancel.
Still Not Printing? Try This:
-
Restart your computer and the copier.
-
Turn the copier off and on again to reset any errors.
-
Double-check the network connection—make sure both the copier and your computer are on the same network.
